Miami Marlins fan flashes St Liouis Cardinals pitcher Brett Cecil

Sports fans across the globe have always gone to great lengths to give their team a bit of an advantage against the opposition.

And this MLB fan did just that when the Miami Marlins played the St Louis Cardinals.

The overzealous Marlins fan was sitting behind home plate and did her best to distract Cardinals pitcher Brett Cecil.

The female spectator flashed the pitcher for a moment and left a male fan sitting beside her bewildered by the brazen act but we didn’t see him complaining.

MLB officials weren’t too happy about the incident with a league spokesman confirming the footage of the act would be edited to remove it before the match reached the archives.

Cecil was unaffected by the sideshow, striking out Marlins hitter Yelich to end his night as St. Louis went on to win 7-5.
