Beckham hits metal frame of kicking net and frame strikes back
New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham jnr continues to do amazingly good things on the field – and amazingly weird things on the sidelines.
Beckham is lucky he didn’t hurt himself when he lashed out at the metal frame of the kicking net with his helmet on Sunday in New Jersey.
The net struck back and OBJ was struck in the side of the head by the metal frame.
Luckily for the player who became the quickest in NFL history to 200 career receptions in the same match, everything was okay.
Beckham also had a couple of stellar catches and runs during the Giants’ 29-27 loss to the Washington Redskins.
The match also featured a renewing of hostilities between Beckham and Josh Norman, the man Beckham was involved in a heated feud with last season when Norman was playing for Carolina.
On both occasions Beckham played well but Norman left the Giants’ home patch as a winner.
The kicking net is expected to make a full recovery.
