Marching band pay spectacular homage to television
A US university marching band has brought the small screen to life after dazzling gridiron fans with their spectacular homage to television.
The Ohio State Marching Band recreated some of television's most beloved shows – including The Simpsons, Batman, Game Of Thrones and M*A*S*H – during the halftime break of the game between Ohio and Virginia Tech.
The production, titled 'TV Land', struck a chord with fans both young and old, taking a journey through the history of the small screen with a montage of family classics and modern day hit shows.
The performers begin the show with a tribute to 1950's crime show Dragnet, before a giant-sized Bart Simpson rolls across the field on a skateboard.
The Batmobile then roars into life, the Brady Bunch wave hello to the crowd while a fire-breathing dragon from Game of Thrones flies in.
A colossus surfer then rides down a wave to the theme of Hawaii Five-O before the epic show rides off into the sunset on the back of the Lone Ranger's trusty stead, Silver.
