Manning brothers get rapping again

With the ball in hand NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning are just about unstoppable.

As singers, they struggle.

The pair released a comical rap video last year and now they’re back at it, spitting out rhymes in another TV promotion.

With the regular NFL season less than a month away, the football brothers have appeared in an ad for a new satellite TV fantasy football channel, complete with scantily-clad back-up dancers and rapper attitude.

Made for DIRECTV, the rap features a handful of celebrity cameos, including New York Jets running back Chris Johnson playing a barber giving a customer a replica of his dreadlock do.

NFL legend Joe Namath also appears making a stew - and possibly love - with the guy's mother.

But it's the Manning's rap that is the centerpiece.

The rap starts with the line "there's a fantasy channel that you've got to see. It's like a fantasy football fantasy."

It then follows with such catchy phrases as: "like catching a football that came from me" and "like an end zone that ends in a waterfall".

Fans have been quick to post their feelings on social media with the reaction divided between "hilarious" and "lame".

You be the judge.
