Man steals trophy puck from young boy

A young ice hockey fan's dream of taking home the game puck was nearly snatched away after an elderly man cruelly stole the souvenir from the boy's waiting hands.

The boy was watching his beloved Pittsburgh Penguins play the Buffalo Sabres when the puck ended up in the away team's bench area.

Noticing the young fan walking down the steps, Sabres coach Dan Bylsma picked up the puck and tossed it over the glass towards the boy.

But just as the boy prepares to snare the once-in-a-lifetime trophy, a man steps out of the crowd and swipes it away with a one-handed catch.

Even worse, the man, staring down the boy, pockets the puck before retaking his seat.

However, the dastardly deed was more than rectified when the Penguins, which won the match 4-3, found the boy and gave him not one, but two pucks for his misfortune.
