Lingerie footballer feted after chugging beer

If ever further proof was needed that sex sells, a lingerie footballer in America has been feted after downing a beer live on television.

Alli Alberts plays for the Chicago Bliss in the Legends Football League, which was formerly known as the Lingerie Football League.The Bliss hosted their first home match last weekend and after starring in a 49-0 romp over Omaha Heart, Alberts was named the Most Valuable Player.Upon hearing the announcement, Alberts decided to celebrate by running onto the middle of the field to down an entire beer.While most male athletes would risk being labeled irresponsible - and likely incur the wrath of politically correct fans and officialdom - Alberts' star is instead on the rise.Sports fans have swamped social media to hail the celebration, with many labelling her their new most favourite athlete.

Alberts, who is also a dentist and studying prosthodontics, appears to be lapping up the attention, re-tweeting many of the posts.
