Japanese pole game the craziest ever?

A bizarre Japanese game has a pretty good claim to being the most violent sport in the world if the latest video of a match is anything to go by.
The pole toppling game, known as Ba-Taoshi, involves a team defending a pole as the opposing side tries to lower the stick.
The latest clip of the game shows a red team swarm around a side clad in white which is defending the pole.

One red player launches onto the mass of people before trying to take one of his opponents off the pole.
It's then that the level of violence in the game becomes apparent, with the white player repeatedly kicking his rival on the top of the head.
The crazy 75 a-side game is predominately played by cadets at Japan's National Defence Academy.
