Earlier this week we witnessed fathers of George Kambosos and Teofimo Lopez go at it ahead of their world title clash tomorrow.

Now, John Fury has got in on the act, taking part in a media conference for son Tommy's fight with Jake Paul on December 18, and things went a little askew to say the least.

Sitting next to his other son, heavyweight champion Tyson, Fury Sr traded shots with Paul via video conference, but things went a little too far as John and Paul narrowed in on each other.

Fury's dad made a vile sexual remark about Paul's girlfriend Julia, which left both sons and the observing media in shock.

He said "when Tommy knocks you out" before describing a sex act with Paul's girlfriend. The comments left the younger Fury with his head in his hands, while the heavyweight champ looked away as promoter Frank Warren was left bewildered on the split video screen.

Paul responded by labelling Fury Sr as an "old cringe man who should not be on stage".

John continued: "So I'm telling you straight, that's where we are coming from. If you don't like it, change the channel."

BT Sports apologised for the inappropriate comments.

"This week BT Sport streamed a live boxing press conference that included a number of offensive and unacceptable comments, some of which has led to further online abuse," Boxing on BT Sport said in a statement on Twitter.

"This goes against all the values that BT Sport wants to uphold.

"We would like to apologise for any offence or upset this has caused."

However, Fury Sr, wasn't finished and continued with his rant after the press conference.

"He is just a cheeky lad with no respect for real fighters," Fury Sr told Queensberry Promotions. "And Tommy is going to hurt him I will tell you that now and if he doesn't I won't speak to him.

"You can tell what state of mind he is in now, he knows the people around him have made a mistake getting him in to this.

"Isn't he a horrible lad though? But I am a horrible man so touché, it is a pity that I can't get to America but I will say one thing.

"Anyone who thinks I am a loud mouth and invades my space, I will drop them where they stand no matter who they are.

"Jake Paul or anybody who tries to disrespect me and my family will is getting it there and then, and there will be no backwards steps from me at all. I will back up what I say."
