NBA star pulls off circus shot

Diminutive Celtics NBA star Isaiah Thomas has pulled off a shot so ridiculous, it’s like something out of the circus.

During Boston’s loss to Detroit, Thomas drew the foul as he drove to the basket and as his momentum took him out of bounds, the 1.75m point guard threw the ball high over the backboard more in hope than anything else.

Remarkably, the ball came down, hit the glass and splashed through the net.

Unfortunately the crowd’s joy was cut short when the shot was ruled not to count.

Compounding the hurt was the face that the Pistons prevailed, 121-114.
