Watching grown men chuck childish tantrums is nothing new for baseball fans but this meltdown by an Indy League player was special.

Late in a tied ballgame, Brennan Metzger, outfielder for the Fargo Moorhead RedHawks, wasn’t too impressed when he was called out on the third strike as his teammate stole third base.

The RedHawks were in a good position to take the lead against the Chicago Dogs, and the umpire’s call severely dented their chance to break the deadlock.

That’s when Metzger decided to give the official a piece of his mind, launching several expletives at the umpire as his manager held him back before he did something regretful.

As expected, Metzger was ejected from the game but the outfielder wasn’t done there.

He went to the dugout and grabbed a rubbish bin and returned to the field, placing the bin behind home plate while making gestures for the umpire to jump in it.

The RedHawks ended up winning the match 4-3.
