Ice hockey player's surprisingly graceful figure skating routine

With all the fights, hits and missing teeth, graceful is not often used to describe ice hockey players. Until now.

That’s because a Russian goalkeeper has become a viral star off the back of his surprisingly great figure skating routine.

The unnamed goaltender for the Traktor team decided to show off some different moves on the rink when some classical music was played during a break in play.

In full pads, and with his stick as prop, the hard man shows some style in his routine that features a spin.

He soaks up the applause from the small crowd before getting back to the business at hand, namely stopping his opponents from scoring.
