Sydney sprinters headline Doomben 10,000

A field of 13 sprinters will line-up for the Doomben 10,000, the first Group One race of the Brisbane winter carnival.

As expected, Sydney-trained speedsters Nature Strip and Osborne Bulls are among the acceptors.

Nature Strip, kept fresh since winning the Group One Galaxy at Rosehill in March, has drawn barrier 11.

Osborne Bulls has gate four in his bid to end a run of four successive placings at racing's elite level.

Nature Strip and Osborne Bulls dominate early betting with Champagne Cuddles the only other runner under a single-figure quote.
