RV announces Giles Thompson as acting CEO

As the search continues for a chief executive officer at Racing Victoria, Giles Thompson will step in to the role for the short term.
RV announced in a statement on Wednesday Thompson would be acting CEO from January 1, replacing Bernard Saundry.
Thompson has held the position of chief financial officer at RV since September 2015 and was formerly the chief executive of Betfair Australia.

He has also held senior executive positions in the media industry with APN News and Media and The Financial Times Group.
