Quality nominations for G2 Lawrence Stakes

The Group Two P B Lawrence Stakes has attracted a star-studded list of 18 nominations including eight individual Group One winners.

Victoria's premier trainer Darren Weir has seven horses entered for Saturday's 1400m weight-for-age race at Caulfield including Saturday's Aurie's Star Handicap winner Voodoo Lad along with Humidor, Black Heart Bart, Kings Will Dream, Danon Liberty, Red Cardinal and Big Duke.

Jameka has been nominated by trainers Ciaron Maher and David Eustace while the other Group One winners entered are Black Heart Bart, Boom Time, Grunt, Harlem, Hartnell, Humidor and Mighty Boss.

Godolphin's Hartnell won the race first-up from a spell last year and earlier this year won the Group One C F Orr Stakes over the course and distance.
