Parnham, Thompson suspended at Caulfield

Chris Parnham will consider appealing the severity of a careless-riding suspension in a bid to ride at Flemington next week.
Parnham was banned for seven meetings for his ride on runner-up Carterista in the Sheen Group Plate at Caulfield on Saturday.
Apprentice Ben Thompson was also suspended for 11 meetings after pleading guilty to shifting in on the winner Pin Your Hopes in the Crown Golden Ale Handicap.
