Minimum bet limit coming for RV's policy

A minimum bet limit to be introduced in time for the Melbourne spring carnival will bring Victoria's race fields policy into line with NSW.
Racing Victoria hopes to have the minimum bet limit in place with its approved wagering service providers by October 1.
In NSW, corporate bookmakers must accept a minimum bet from a punter to win $2000 on Saturday metropolitan races and $1000 outside the city area.
