McGauran resigns from Racing Australia

Peter McGauran will not renew his contract as chief executive of Racing Australia and will take up a yet-to-be disclosed corporate role.

McGauran tendered his resignation to the Racing Australia board on Thursday and will leave the position when his contract expires in December.

Chairman John Messara said the board accepted his resignation with regret and would consider a replacement process when they met again in September.
