Ray Murrihy has had a relatively smooth afternoon for his final Sydney metropolitan Saturday meeting as chief steward - until the last race.

After dual protests from the third and fourth placegetters in the benchmark 78 race at Randwick, Murrihy headed the panel which upheld both objections.

Disgraceful was promoted from third to second behind Bullrush with Invinzabeel elevated from fourth to third.

Roguish, the cause of the problem, dropped from second to fourth with Murrihy's last act to hand apprentice Taylor Marhsall a four-meeting suspension.

Marshall was found guilty of shifting inside the final 20m, causing interference to both the eventual placegetters.
