Kennedy Oaks Day: Ultimate guide

Traditionally known as ‘Ladies Day’, Kennedy Oaks Day is a day when the sights, sounds and splendour of spring racing is celebrated in a carnival of fashion and femininity.

Culminating in the $1 million Group 1 Kennedy Oaks, a classic for three-year-old fillies, the day also sees the crowning of the Myer Fashions on the field Women’s Racewear national winner.

Amid the glamour, a competitive field of racing underpins the day with nine attractive races maintaining the high calibre and gripping action Flemington is renowned for.

Kennedy Oaks day 2018 takes place at Flemington race track on Thursday November 8 with the action kicking off at 12:15pm with the Group 3 Maribyrnong Plate. The day’s proceedings conclude at approximately 6pm with the Group 3 World Horse Racing Roses Stakes.
