Jockey's touching tribute to Shane Warne after riding legend's horse to maiden win
A jockey has paid tribute to Shane Warne after riding the late cricket icon's part-owned horse, Sacred Oath, to its maiden win.
Sacred Oath broke through in dominant fashion on the Gold Coast, winning the 1200m race in its third start, and its first since a fall in Ipswich last month.
As the horse crossed the finish line, jockey Noel Callow paid tribute to Warne, rolling his right arm over in a leg-spinning motion to celebrate the historic triumph.

The heartfelt tribute to Warne, who was farewelled in a state funeral earlier this month after his tragic death in Thailand, was not lost on fans, including ex-AFL star Campbell Brown.

"Very sentimental win that," Brown tweeted.
"Well done David (trainer David Vandyke) to get the horse back in such good order after last starts incident.
"Great ride king and lovely delivery. Hope [you] enjoyed that SK."
"Sacred Oath, part-owned by the late Shane Warne, wins on the Gold Coast," racing reporter, Tim Yeatman, tweeted.
"Hope the king enjoyed that one upstairs".
