Jet Setting sold to China Horse Club

The China Horse Club has paid STG1.3 million ($A2.51 million) at the Goffs London Sale for Irish 1000 Guineas winner Jet Setting who will stay with trainer Adrian Keatley.

The filly's next assignment is the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot on Friday for which she is the 9-4 favourite.

"Part of our philosophy is looking for long-term breeding opportunity. She allows us that but she also has potential racing upside," the China Horse Club's agent Michael Wallace said.

Keatley, who has been training in Ireland since 2014 after spending time in Australia with trainers John O'Shea and Chris Waller, said the sale was a great result for her original owners, Equine Growth Partners, who paid 12,000 guineas ($A24,286) for the filly.

"It is a great result for the lads and it was obviously a massive result her winning the Guineas," Keatley said.

"It's also a massive result for racing as it gives people hope, and a lot of people need hope at the lower end of racing."

Keatley said plans as to whether Jet Setting races on as a four-year-old have yet to be finalised.
