Cobalt charges dropped against John Leek
AAP
Racing Victoria stewards have decided not to press cobalt charges against trainer John Leek.
The Leek-trained Spirit Cent returned a reading above the cobalt threshold of 200 micrograms per litre of urine following its win at Pakenham in July.
But the reserve portion was returned under the threshold after taking into account a level of uncertainty.

Following an investigation that took veterinary and legal advice into account, the case was dropped.
