Higgins ends Robertson's snooker title bid

Pre-tournament favourite Neil Robertson has been eliminated from the world snooker championships with John Higgins beating the Australian 13-10 to reach the semi-finals.
The 43-year-old drew on every inch of his fighting qualities to repel Robertson's brave come back from a 9-7 deficit.
Twice Robertson came within one frame but Higgins kept his nose in front and finished in style with a 101 clearance in the last.
