Raccoon terrifies Aussie golfer Allenby
Australian golfer Robert Allenby’s eventful year has continued after he was scared by a raccoon during the Players Championships.
Footage of the second round from TPC Sawgrass shows Allenby going through his swing in the tee box for the 14th hole as a raccoon sneaks up behind him.
Sensing the animal, a frightened Allenby jumps in the air before backing away quickly.
Some golf fans did joke about Allenby’s brush with nature online, comparing it to the Australian’s night out in Hawaii in January where he was allegedly assaulted, kidnapped and robbed.
