Bryson DeChambeau nails insane hole-in-one over his $5m Dallas mansion

It took 134 attempts but he finally got there.

Two-time major winner Bryson DeChambeau decided to take his practice at home to another level as he attempted to make a hole-in-one over his Dallas mansion onto a custom-built putting green in his backyard.

The 31-year-old spent two weeks trying to land the seemingly impossible shot, uploading his misses and reactions online.

The golf community rallied around his challenge, with an LIV Golf social media account joking at one point: "Think it's time to try a stinger through the window."

DeChambeau stated he would he would have the same number of attempts as the day of the challenge and he finally nailed a hole-in-one on his 14th shot of Day 16.

When he did, he dropped his club, ran toward the hole, picked up the ball and kissed it while celebrating.

"I can't believe I made that ... are you kidding me?" he yelled.

DeChambeau is the reigning US Open champion and finished in the top 10 at this year's Masters and PGA Championship.

"He's got people talking about it and he's hitting some good shots actually," Australian Marc Leishman said of the hole-in-one challenge. "He's had a lot of chances. It's pretty cool.

"He's definitely turned into a real character. I think he's really embraced being a role model for kids. Maybe at the start he didn't quite understand that, but now he does."
