Mark Wahlberg tee shot leaves anything but good vibration

Come on swing it. So sung Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch in the 1991 pop classic Good Vibrations.

Mark Wahlberg - the star of that musical act - did swing it in Phoenix this week and the results were anything but good. The sensation was anything but sweet.

In fact, after Wahlberg fired the ball into the grandstands that line the famous par-three 16th hole at Scottsdale the only vibrations felt would have been bad ones from spectators ducking for cover.

As the video shows, Wahlberg had a shocker and tour pro Bubba Watson made sure everyone knew about it during the pro-am for this week's US PGA Tour event in Arizona.

Golfers would call it a shank – and didn’t the crowd let him know about it.

The rowdy fans who line this hole have been known to boo professionals who don’t go at the pin, so Wahlberg was always going to cop it after his horrible effort.

This of course isn’t the first time Wahlberg’s golf skills have been on display. Who can forget when he and NFL star Tom Brady took down Vince Chase and Johnny Drama on Entourage.
