World No.1 golfer Jason Day introduced as Jordan Day

‘’Next on the first, from Australia: Jordan Day’’.

No, this line isn’t from a computer game in which someone morphed basketball legend Michael Jordan and world No.1 golfer Jason Day together to create some sort of super golfer that would tear up courses all over the world.

It wasn’t even a composite of Jason Day and fellow golf star Jordan Speith.

It was a simple slip of the tongue from the on-course announcer at this week’s US PGA Tour BMW Championship in Indiana.

You’d think they’d never get the world No.1’s name wrong, but we all make mistakes.

Day laughed it off but maybe it had something to do with his unhappy day on the course. He shot a one-over-par round of 73 to be eight shots behind unheralded leader Robert Castro after the opening round.
