Golfer takes on frozen pond - and loses
This keen golfer obviously has no respect for the laws of physics, or common sense.
That’s why he boldly, or perhaps stupidly, decided to venture onto a frozen pond and to play the ball as it lies.
No taking a penalty and hitting your next shot from back on terra firma for this fellow.

Things were never going to end well from here.
The problems started when our brave hero’s iron connected with the ice and then slipped.
The shockwaves those two actions caused resulted in a hole in the ice which our man fell through.
One can only begin to imagine how cold he would have been once he managed to get out of the water.
It wasn’t the smartest thing to do, but neither was playing golf in those conditions in the first place.
