Golf trick shot ends in low blow

An amateur golfer was left flat on his back after his playing partner's trick shot went horribly wrong with hilarious consequences.

The man was standing to the side with another golfer as their playing partner lined up an almost impossible shot after his ball ended up nestled in deep rough against a wooden retaining wall.

With his back to the green, the playing partner tried to rebound the ball off the wall and back onto the putting surface.

However, the ball took a wicked deflection and zeroed in on the unsuspecting man, painfully hitting him in the crotch.

The man immediately fell in a crumpled heap while his playing partners fell into a fit of hysterics.

Despite the low blow, the man was quickly back on his feet and helping his playing partner find his ball for another attempt at a miracle shot.
