95 cases of beer on offer for hole-in-one

It was Rickie Fowler who holed out for an ace at the iconic 17th hole during practice for this week’s The Players Championship in Florida, but fans will be hoping fellow American Brooks Koepka can repeat the feat during the tournament.

Koepka’s sponsor, Michelob Ultra, will give away 95 cases of beer, or 2,280 cans, if he can make a hole-in-one.

And it's not just one lucky fan who'll collect the lot, but anyone who signs up to the promotion.

In case you were wondering, you don't get 95 cases at once, rather they'll deliver two cases a month for four years.

The promotion will be held at 10 PGA Tour events, including this week.

But in bad news for punters, Koepka is yet to make a hole-in-one on the PGA Tour.

The Players Championship has one of the strongest fields in golf, with Australia’s Jason Day out to defend the title he won in 2016.
