Golf: Amateur golfer defies laws of physics with trick shot

An amateur golfer has amazingly defied the laws of physics with a trick shot that has to be truly seen to be believed.

Tyler Prisby left sport fans and some scientists scratching their heads after filming himself hitting an astonishing two-ball shot.

Placing one ball on top of the other at a driving range, Prisby collected the bottom ball and, in a seemingly violation of scientific law, sent the top ball flying straight up into the air.

He then quickly takes another swing and cracks the second ball off into the distance.

Prisby, who posted the video on Twitter, will reportedly be attending university in Oakland, Michigan, the same city which is hosting the US Open – a fact not lost on the young the trick shot artist.

"Am I Jordan Spieth yet?" he asked in the caption of his Tweet.
