Nicolas Colsaerts has opened up a three-shot lead heading into the final round of the French Open in Paris.

The Belgian's round of 67 on day three at Le Golf National moved him to 13 under and put him in pole position for a first victory in seven years, with South African George Coetzee his closest competition after a 70.

Australia's Lucas Herbert carded a superb 65 to move into a group sharing 15th place on four-under, while compatriot Jake McLeod dropped to joint 54th place after a 73.
