Cameron Smith finds out how many beers fit into Claret Jug during celebrations
In the aftermath of his breakthrough major victory, Cameron Smith fulfilled his promise of testing how many beers fit into the Claret Jug.
The 150th Open Championship winner was joined by 2013 Masters champion and compatriot Adam Scott, as well as other Aussies including former Wallabies captain George Gregan and listened to Australian rock bands like Cold Chisel and INXS as he celebrated his victory at St Andrews.
Smith along with his caddie Sam Pinfold and coach Grant Field celebrated the momentous occasion at the players lounge at the Old Course Hotel where it was discovered the Claret Jug holds just shy of two bottles of Italian beer, Birra Moretti
Pinfold said when he first met the Aussie he knew there was something about the Queenslander.

"From the moment I met him eight years ago, I knew he was different gravy," Pinfold told Golf Digest.
"He has a look in his eye that tells you he's going to stand and deliver."

Wallabies great and keen golfer George Gregan reportedly showed his face at the celebrations, as did fellow World Cup-winner Bryan Habana.
According to Golf Digest, Smith went to bed at around 2am on Monday morning before catching an 8am flight to Florida and was seen packing his extra piece of luggage away safely in the overhead locker.

On Sunday, Smith was later asked in his press conference how many beers he thought could fit in the trophy.
"I'm gonna guess two cans of beer," he said.
Asked how many more drinks he'd have after that, Smith joked: "I'll probably have about 20 Claret Jugs."
