Fierce golfing rivals Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka have poked fun at each other ahead of the fifth addition of golf's made-for-TV special 'The Match'.

The two competitors will battle it out over 12 holes at Wynn Golf Course, with proceeds from the event going towards charity.

DeChambeau has taken a swing at Koepka ahead of 'The Match III', making a jibe at the two-time PGA champion's form leading in.

Taking to Twitter, DeChambeau posted a picture of Koepka's face - an image made famous earlier this year when it became a template for memes - with his last two results, in which he was cut both times.

"Looks like @BKoepka is ready for the match," DeChambeau tweeted.

In their pre-match press conferences tensions continued to rise between the two players.

"Playing 12 holes is nice. I mean, it's better than playing 18 holes with Bryson. So anything to spend less time around him," said Koepka.

Previous 'The Match' participant and NFL superstar Tom Brady has also weighed in on the spat, trolling DeChambeau with a series of Koepka memes online.

The pair will play alongside Phil Mickelson and Aaron Rodgers.
