Frenchman hits the slopes in bizarre ski suit

First he unveiled the 32-wheel rollersuit, now zany Frenchman Jean-Yves Blondeau has turned his attention to the snow slopes, unveiling a new suit that allows him to ski on his chest, hands and even all-fours.

Called buggy ski, the suit looks like a combination of Iron Man and a Transformer, with ski blades attached to the 45-year-old's hands, feet, legs and chest.

Hitting the French Alps recently to show off his latest design, Blondeau powered down the slopes in a multitude of positions, from lying prone like a luger to sliding on his arms and legs.

And he appeared to have as much control as his upright skiing buddies.

The latest suit comes after the former industrial design school graduate produced his 32-wheel rollersuit, which appeared in a scene during the credits of Jim Carey's film Yes Man.

Blondeau reached speeds of over 110km/h in the rollersuit.

And while the Frenchman turned plenty of heads in his latest invention we can't see it catching on any time soon at Perisher or Falls Creek.
