FFA and Indonesia discuss joint World Cup bid for 2034
Australia and Indonesia are exploring the possibility of a joint bid to host the 2034 World Cup.
Officials from FFA and their Indonesian counterparts discussed the bid during the ASEAN Football Federation Council Meeting in Laos last week.
"Football Federation Australia confirms it has held discussions with the Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) about the possibility to jointly bid for the 2034 FIFA World Cup," an FFA statement said.

Several nations have already expressed interest in potentially bidding for the 2034 tournament.
At the 34th ASEAN Summit in Thailand recently, Thai prime minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha announced the 10 south-east Asian nations in the ASEAN group would launch a joint bid for the tournament.
African powerhouse Egypt is also reportedly contemplating a bid.
An FFA spokesperson said the association would welcome the opportunity to discuss the ASEAN bid with fellow national bodies in the region.
Australia failed in its bid to host the 2022 tournament, which was won by Qatar.
