Women's French team scores stunning goal

France's U20 women's World Cup squad has scored a stunning goal the equal of any scored during the recent men's senior version in Brazil.

Footage of the pool match against Costa Rica reveals brilliant build-up, which featured two superb touches, and a unbelievable finish.

The final pass in particular is absolutely sublime, with the striker teeing the ball up for goalscorer Claire Lavogez just inside the box with a great back-heel pass.

Lavogez does the rest, completing the move by smashing a sweet right-foot volley over the keeper and into the net, via the underside of the cross-bar.

The stunning strike was France's fourth goal in the 5-1 rout.
