Wayne Rooney slaps WWE wrestler
Football star Wayne Rooney has slapped a WWE wrestler who ridiculed him as a "failure" at a professional wrestling event in England.
Footage from WWE Raw in Manchester shows Rooney standing at the front of the crowd, where he is positively dwarfed by the 2m, 112kg English wrestler Wade Barrett.
Barrett is seen saying something to Rooney, which causes the Manchester United captain to slap him across the face as fans roar their approval.

The English WWE star had called the footballer out of the crowd, repeatedly telling Rooney he was failure.
The vengeful slap, though part of the show, was warmly received on Twitter.
