Uzbekistan reach Asian Cup quarter-finals

Sardor Rashidov scored twice as Uzbekistan reached the Asian Cup quarter-finals with a thrilling 3-1 win over Saudi Arabia.

Rashidov fired the Uzbeks ahead in just the second minute before Mohammed Al Sahlawi hit back with a penalty that would have taken the Saudis through.

But Vokhid Shodiev restored the Uzbeks' vital lead before Rashidov grabbed his second in the 79th minute as his team qualified in second position in Group B.
