Sunderland sign Borini from Liverpool

English Premier League club Sunderland has signed Italian striker Fabio Borini from Liverpool on a four-year contract.
The 24-year-old returns to Sunderland for an undisclosed fee that some media outlets reported could rise to STG10 million ($A21.6 million).
Borini spent the 2013-14 season on loan with the Black Cats, scoring 10 goals and helping them reach the League Cup final.

"I am delighted to be back at Sunderland," Borini said.
"It is a club I know really well from my time here previously.
"It will be emotional for me to play at the Stadium of Light again and I can't wait to get back on the pitch as a Sunderland player."
Borini scored three goals in 38 appearances for Liverpool after joining from Roma in 2012.
