A football coach in the Spanish second division let the occasion get the the better of him when he headbutted his own player.

Huesca coach Juan Antonio wasn’t feeling as composed as he should’ve when opponents Getafe scored their second goal of the match and he reacted swiftly by pulling off midfielder David Lopez for sub-par performance.

Lopez was peeved about the substitution and made a bit of a scene on the sidelines as he headed towards the bench.

Coach Antonio was clearly unhappy with the player’s reaction and thought he’d convey his feelings to Lopez face-to-face.

Things got a bit too heated at that point with the coach literally headbutting his player and Lopez wasn’t going to take it laying down.

Luckily for the coach officials had to separate the two after Lopez became enraged at the coach’s attempt relay a message to him.
