Socceroos' Brattan signs with Man City

Socceroos midfielder Luke Brattan's future has finally been confirmed, with the former Brisbane Roar star signing with Manchester City.

However, the 25-year-old will first turn out for Bolton in England's second-tier Championship, with a loan deal agreed upon immediately that will run until January 3, 2016.

The British-born talent sought a release from the Brisbane Roar eight weeks out from the start of the A-League season after a dispute over unpaid superannuation.

Brattan was a member of the PFA's A-League team of the season in 2013-14, and scored a crucial goal against Melbourne Victory last year to seal the Premier's Plate.
