Shaw suffering no ill-effects of head bang

Luke Shaw reported no ill-effects overnight following a worrying head injury suffered in 2-1 defeat by Spain at Wembley.

As Gareth Southgate's squad regrouped at their St George's Park headquarters on Sunday, Shaw was still being monitored but was reported to be fine after being carried off on a stretcher.

The Manchester United left-back required nearly seven minutes of treatment following a heavy fall having collided with Spain right-back Dani Carvajal.

Meanwhile, England have called up Leicester City duo Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray for Tuesday's friendly against Switzerland.

Chilwell and Gray will not travel out to Latvia with the England Under-21s squad on Monday and will join the senior squad for the first time.
