Ronaldinho to marry two women at once

Former Barcelona star Ronaldinho is planning to marry two women at the same time, according to reports in his native Brazil.

Rio de Janeiro's daily newspaper O Dia claims Ronaldinho, 38, has organised an August ceremony at which he will celebrate his love for live-in girlfriends Priscilla Coelho and Beatriz Souza.

The football star's two fiancees have been living with the soccer star at his Rio de Janeiro mansion.

The Barcelona ambassador started dating Coelho first around 2013 before meeting Souza in 2016. 

According to reports, the Brazilian gives each woman an allowance of over $2500 and gives both of them identical presents.

Ronaldinho asked both for their hands in marriage in January last year and gave them both engagement rings, according to Brazil's O Dia newspaper.  

Despite Ronaldinho never publicly confirmed his relationship with the women, friends of the star say he travels with both women to almost every event he attends.

In March this year, he posted photos a video of himself with both women to his 32 million Instagram followers.

Bigamy is illegal in Brazil and O Dia reports that the wedding will therefore be unofficial, instead offering Ronaldinho an excuse to hold a party for close relatives at his upmarket Rio condominium.

The former FIFA player of the year said he plans to retire in January at the age of 38.
