Pitch invader mars Brazil training at Cup

Record five-time champions Brazil had their first World Cup training session in Russia on Tuesday and had an uninvited guest in the form of a pitch invader.

Security guards collected the intruder at the open training session in Sochi as Neymar and company prepared for their opening Group E match against Switzerland on Sunday.

Apart from midfielder Fred, who did an individual program due to a light injury, the whole squad took part in team training.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is continuing to find sharpness after being sidelined with a broken foot in February.

"He has regained confidence step by step," goalkeeper Alisson said. "He is doing very well."

Neymar is tied for third with Romario on the list of all-time top scorers for Brazil with 55. Ronaldo's tally of 62 is within sight but he remains shy of Pele's leading mark of 77.

Alisson has been subject to transfer rumours with Real Madrid and Liverpool reportedly interested in securing his services from Roma - and the keeper did little to dampen the speculation.

"I'm concentrating on the work with the national team," he said. "My agent deals with the other questions together with Roma.

"At the end will be the best solution for Roma and myself - regardless of whether I stay or not."
