Pitch invader makes fools of security guards

A pitch invader has shown the fancy footwork of Roger Tuivasa-Scheck after outmanoeuvering a posse of security guards to reach the field during a Russian football match.

Leaping over the fence at Spartak Moscow's Otkrytiye Arena, the home fan showed his contempt for the ground officials as he stepped, swerved and shimmied his way past at least eight stewards.

At one point, he leaves two hapless security men sprawled on the concrete rim surrounding the field as he props right, then left and straight between their attempted tackles.

He then ducks under the attempts of two other officials before somersaulting over fence and onto the pitch.

Satisfied with his efforts the man then casually strolls back towards two officials, holding his hand up in surrender before being ushered off the field.

The incursion proved a highlight for Spartak fans on an otherwise miserable night at they fell 5-2 to Zenit St Petersburg.

But we can only wonder what became of the pitch invader behind closed doors when the embarrassed stewards finally got their hands on him.

If he's not languishing in a Siberian gulag, perhaps he has a future in the NRL.
