Soccer legend Pele has been discharged from hospital after undergoing surgery to remove kidney stones.
The sports star was admitted to the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Wednesday with abdominal pains. Doctors discovered kidney stones blocking his urinary tract and removed them in an operation on Thursday.
"He had stomach pains and he was brought to hospital for tests. But he is calm and feels good," his aide Jose Fornos Rodrigues said.
