Nacho gives Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo some competition
For this week at least, Cristiano Ronaldo won’t be holding court when it comes to boasting about spectacular goals on the training pitch at Real Madrid.
In a team packed with stars, Nacho Rodriguez put up an early contender for goal of the year with this peach against Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey.
The 26-year-old Spaniard isn’t one of the biggest names at Real, but that didn’t stop him from wowing his teammates.

Colombian superstar James Rodriguez was left agasp and even the great Zinedine Zidane (Real coach) looked lost for words.
If we know anything about Ronaldo, he will be looking to better that effort in the coming weeks and regain his spot at the top of the heap.
