Sead Kolasinac's unfortunate deflection into his own net in Bosnia-Herzegovina's game against Argentina was the third own goal of the 2014 World Cup, one more than in the entire 2010 tournament.
Brazil's Marcelo, Honduras goalkeeper Noel Valladares and Kolasinac have found their own net in 11 games played so far in Brazil.
In the 64 matches at South Africa 2010, only Denmark's Daniel Agger and Park Chu Young of South Africa found their own net.

The World Cup own goal record stands at six, from France 1998.
