Brisbane-born Matildas talent Hayley Raso will return home after signing with the Roar for the W-League season.

Calling time on her stint with Portland Thorns FC in the United States, the winger has inked a deal to return to the club she first played for between 2013-15.

Fresh off helping the national side clean sweep Brazil, the 23-year-old's attacking exploits will be welcomed by Roar coach Mel Andreatta.

"I am confident that Hayley's speed will cause opposition defenders plenty of problems this season, not to mention her infectious winning mentality she will bring to our squad," Andreatta said.

Raso is the club's fourth signing after captain Clare Polkinghorne, goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold and Hong Kong international striker Wai Ki Cheung recently committed to the club.

Brisbane open their W-League season against Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium on October 27.
